SCHOOL COUNCIL

Our school council is made up of two students from each class. School council meetings are held every fortnight. In class, everyone disscusses successes, problems, needs and ideas and then the councillors for each class take suggestions up to the school council meeting.

The Class Councillors from Class 5 and 6 hold extra responsiblities. The Chairperson organises school council meetings and makes sure that every coucillor gets an opportunity to speak.  The Chairperson also ensures that everyone sticks to the agenda.  The secretary makes sure that all the minutes from meetings are typed up.  The treasurer thinks of ideas for fundraising and looks after any money raised by School Council. 

During this school year, School Council will be setting up a Friendship Bench in the playground so that anyone who needs a friend can find one.

PLAYLEADERS

Playleaders started when the Zoneparc was introduced back in Spring 2007. If you are in Year 4, 5 and 6 you could apply to be a playleader. Playleaders organise equipment at morning break and help to referree or suggest games at lunchtimes. Speak to Mr Bello for more information.

ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP

Environmental Club started in September 2008.  We have won several awards and are very proud of the work that the Eco-Team encourage all the children to do.
