The Family Learning Room
Welcome to the Family Learning Room
Sir John Cass Primary School, The City of London and Hackney Community College work together to run The Family Learning Room. Here you can find courses and activities for adults and families. Classes run every day between 9am and 3pm as well as two twilight sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Adult classes include IT training, sewing, ESOL and craft. There are also family numeracy, history and literacy sessions where you can work with teachers from Sir John Cass Primary school and find out how to support your child at school.
All the classes have a crèche in the same room. Everyone in the school community (parents, carers, grandparents, close family friends) is welcome to attend.
The classes are free but some materials may need to be purchased.
