Good afternoon

I was born in Stepney and went to Sir John Cass School as a 5 year old in the early 1950s. I attended the Foundation Day event which was held at St. Boltolph's Church, Aldgate and still have a picture of that day as a memento. The reason for my comments is that in those days we used to wear feathers in our berets, but it seems from the photos that nowadays they do not wear the berets. I think it is a great shame that we don't continue with our traditions.
